Yu Square's founder Ringo Yu

About Yu Square,

And The Person Behind it

The label Yu Square was named after the designer Ringo Yu's surname. Graduated from Central Saint Martins College and had received a First Class Honour degree in Knitted Textiles in 2011, she decided to set up Yu Square to fulfill her dream that is to design freely after 2 years experiences in fashion industry.

Specialising in knitted textiles, Yu Square's goal is to create colourful knitwear and accessories that make people smile. Inspired by things seen in daily life, personal memories, photography and architecture, all these elements are blended into Yu Square's works and transformed to textiles with bold/graphic patterns and fun colour combinations.

Ringo currently works full time as a textile designer and a machine knitter at her studio in Taichung, Taiwan, where full of illustrated postcards, toys and her favourite tin robots.
